Anárien

 

          "....She is the child of the Radiant Sun. The night she was born, the sky illuminated with a million stars and the Silmarillion upon Eárendil Crown shone brightly upon the Earth below, that it looked as though Daylight had came upon the Night.

          Gil-Galad and Isilmirie were glad; long had they wanted another child and long had they prayed that it will be a daughter. She will be their jewel and a great sister to their only son, Haldir.

           In the morning, they gave her the name befitting her linage: Anárien, the Sun Maiden...."



        Anárien is my Lord Of The Rings Character, created some time ago in October 2004. She is said to be the daughter of Gil-Galad, High Elven King and Lord of Lindon, and Isilmirie, a Silvan-Noldor Elf of Lothlorien. Anárien is also the younger sister of Haldir (Father Given Name: Glorfindel ) and is 5 years his junior.

          Anárien was born in Lindon around Year 3415 of the Second Age. After the creating of The Last Alliance of Men & Elves in 3430,  Anárien, together with her mother, brother Haldir and other residents of Lindon moved to Imladris (Rivendell) for safety reasons and there she dwelled for over 500 years before moving to Lothlorien to come into service of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn as the Captain of the Marchwarden of the Eastern Borders. She also get 2 younger brothers, Rumil and Orophin whom her mother "adopted" since very young after their parents were killed by Orcs.

        Below is a list of outfits I have create for Anárien to wear at the various places she dwell in.

 

TRIVAL: How Did The Character of Anárien Came About?

Anárien? Who in the world is that?

        Well, the story goes that I'm pretty busty and currently quite fat so the chances of me portraying Haldir March Warden at this moment is a bit bleak. So out of failures emerged a new idea of being my own character.

        Anárien is actually the result of my mispronouncing Anárion (Isildur's Brother, Elendil's 2nd Son and Ruler of Minas Anor). She is basically the sister of the Trio (Haldir, Rumil and Orophin) and took over the role of the Captain of the Lothlorien March Warden after her brother Haldir KIA (Kidnapped In Action! @__@ ) at Helm's Deep.

        Ya, she is like Eowyn in a way as she spent more time climbing trees, learning Archery, Sword Fighting and roaming the woods of Lothlorien rather than sit down and look pretty like other Female Elves. It mostly have to do due to the fact that she is pretty close to her brother Haldir since their childhood and always tail him everywhere he went except to the bathroom.

        And she can't cook Lembas Bread! She is known to make it till it's too crispy (that you can use it to hit a mad dog and knock it unconscious) or has the taste of Man!

        And she had been through 100 dates with elves from Rivendell, Lothlorien and even that girlish Prince of Mirkwood (who looked like his sister) apart from 2 Ringwraiths from Dur Duldur, that she vow not to date anyone again......until her first Boyfriend proposed to her again after the end of the War of the Ring.
