ARWEN MOURNING GOWN

If Aragorn survive this War,
You will still be parted.
If Sauron is defeated and Aragorn made King
And all that you hope for comes true,
You will still have to taste the bitterness of mortality
Wherther by the sword or the slow decay of time,
Aragorn will die.
And there will be no comfort for you, no comfort to ease the pain of his
passing
He will come to death,
An image of the spendiour of the King of Men in glory,
Undimmed before the breaking of the world.
But you, my daughter,
You will linger on, in darkness and in doubt,
As night falling and winter that comes without a star
Here you will dwell bound to your grief under the fading trees
Until all the world is changed,
And all the long years of your life are utterly spent.

-Elrond, TTT

With these words, Arwen saw her future as the Queen of Gondor & Arnor, an Immortal Elven Princess, bond to her Mortal Lover, Aragorn

In a scene fast-forward to Arwen's future in The Two Towers, audiences get to see the future of Arwen, at the funeral of Aragorn. Being a Mortal man, Argorn was bond to die when his time comes. Thus, Arwen, the Immortal Elven Princess, undimmed by the passing of time, had to see her beloved lover and husband goes into the next life. In this scene, Arwen was seen wearing a Dark Gown, the symbol of her mourning for the passing of Aragorn.

I had chosen to recreate the Arwen Mourning Gown because it captured my attention when I first saw it in The Two Towers, and it holds the symbolic of the result of one's decision. It is also in one of my favourite colors (Dark Colors, especially Black)
